On Friday, June 12, clients, neighbors, Chamber staff, and other guests helped us celebrate the 3-year anniversary of our Red Bank Branch on Evansville’s westside. Guests enjoyed a picnic-style lunch, live music, and prizes were given away throughout the day. Many First Bank friends joined us for a celebratory cake cutting at 2pm.
Left to Right: Matt Whetstone (First Bank), Angie Turpin (First Bank), Greg Hunsaker (Case Engineering), Brandee Scott (First Bank), John Craddock (Case Engineering), Jerry Prow (First Bank), Christy Gillenwater (Southwest Indiana Chamber), Kyle Anslinger (First Bank), Allen Noe (Approval Payment Solutions), and Tim Brauer (Ameriqual).
It has been reported that fraudsters are making calls in our area and identifying themselves as “First Bank Card Services.” This is a scam.
The fraudulent caller is speaking with individuals, and leaving messages on land lines and cell phones. The fraudster may mention a reference number, and may instruct the recipient to call “Kevin” right away at 888-362-8585. Again, this is a scam.
If you receive a call like this, report it ASAP by calling the phone number on the back of your First Bank Debit Card – NOT any other number, especially the number referenced by this fraudulent caller. Furthermore, never give out any debit card or personal information over the phone to an unfamiliar caller.
Questions? Call your nearest branch or the number on the back of your First Bank Debit Card after hours.
