MasterCard SecureCodeMasterCard® SecureCode™

MasterCard SecureCode is a private code that gives you and your First Bank Debit Card an additional layer of online shopping security!

Today, if you make a purchase at the grocery store or mall, you enter your PIN or sign a receipt to validate the transaction. MasterCard SecureCode mimics this process online by providing a digital receipt that you “sign” with your own personal SecureCode.

Click here to get registered for your SecureCode now.

Then, the next time you shop online with a participating retailer, you’ll be prompted to enter your SecureCode and will feel confident knowing your transaction is secure!

If you have questions about MasterCard SecureCode, please visit or call your nearest branch or call 1-800-538-3979.

Online Banking Security

At First Bank, we’ve employed a variety of tools and processes to help protect your information when you are using our NetTeller Online Banking & BillPay services.

Our online banking services include multiple levels of firewalls and intrusion detection and prevention systems, and we conduct ongoing penetration testing to ensure these systems are effective. In addition to these precautions, our system is constantly monitored for suspicious or unusual activities.

We utilize multi-factor authentication, as well as session timeout after a period of inactivity, and account lockout if a password is entered incorrectly three times.

Your security is our priority. If you have questions about your online banking security with us, please visit or call your nearest branch or call 1-800-538-3979.

Your Security at Account Opening

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your divers license or other identifying documents.

In some cases, identification will be requested for those accounts with us prior to effective date of the customer identification requirements. In all cases protection of our customer’s identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.
